Funky and expressive nose full of orange fruit, orange peel, apricot and subtle smoke. Fresh and playful with hints of vanilla, biscuit spice and ‘roomboter babbelaar’, rounded off with a touch of peat and old skool vibes. On the palate, a mischievous palette of sweet citrus, strawberry candy and spicy spiciness à la amber block. Slightly smoky and tropically pungent. The finish is buttery smooth with depth: old leather, dried herbs and a subtle dry touch of Oloroso. Everything dances around that recognizable Scotia funk. A complete and entertaining dram that is well ahead of its age.
